11 Nov 1918 — Canadian private George Price is shot near Mons two minutes before the ceasefire; American Henry Gunther is killed charging at 10:59. Nearly 2,700 men fall on the war’s last morning, after the armistice is signed. Remember the arithmetic of those six hours.
