Conquest of Chalco (c. 1465)
On the Norse and Aztecs map as “Chalco”
c. 1465 — The Chalco confederation resisted the Triple Alliance for decades before its conquest around 1465. Its lake and fertile lands, rich in chinampas and maize, made it the granary of the basin, and in 1521 it joined the Spaniards against Tenochtitlan.
