Battle of Warsaw (1920)
On the WWI map as “The Battle of Warsaw”
13–25 Aug 1920 — The Red Army reaches Radzymin on the edge of Warsaw, then Piłsudski’s counterstroke from the Wieprz river breaks it apart. Poles call it the Miracle on the Vistula. The battle, more than any decision in Paris, settles where Poland’s eastern border will run.
